Its been so long. No photos whatsoever. however I am in contact with some friends. lets see what they have. You are keeping records of all batches? Can you share with me. especially the older ones. Maybe 1969 - 1974.Dont give up. We need you. I may not be able to help much as I have not kept in touch with my mates but i'll give you all the support you need. count on me for that. Take care.
Form 1 - 1967 (pioneer batch for SM Kg. Kerinchi, later changed to Sri Pantai)
Form 2 - 1968
Form 3 - 1969 (I was here during the infamous May 13 and many house were burnt around our school) At that time Sek. Men. Kg. Kerinchi only was until form 3. Form 4 were in NTSS PJ (Sri Samad School) and other schools. I went to Sek. Men Teknik, Cheras for my Form 4.
Sek. Men Kg Kerinchi . The year (1967) we joined, the school was new. We were in Form 1. However there was a new Form 2 too. these students did their Form 1 in a temporary school. Not too sure where. Yes, we are the pioneers. At that time, there was no access road to the school, just a mud track.
It is a shame that I do not have any photos. The teachers I remember are Ms Ratnam, Mrs Amar, Miss Chew. Mrs Ramanathan - tak ingat la. she was in Kg. Kerinchi for 30 years!!! Wow.
